Fondant Tattoo Method

Omigosh, I am so excited to share this with you!!  I was just about to drift off to sleep when an idea hit me (isn’t that when some of the best ideas happen?).  I was thinking about Pinterest (probably because it’s the last thing I l looked at, and my mind drifted to crafting and transferring ink onto wood, then to Silly Putty  (obviously?) because of its fun newsprint-transferring-properties.  And , as with most topics, my thoughts then drifted to how that could be applied to CAKE.  I have spent many, many hours tracing images onto my cakes with various methods, whether it’s a projector or using a pin to trace a pattern with tiny pin holes.  It never dawned on me before to use my edible printer, but suddenly this method just hit me, and I couldn’t sleep after I thought of it.  I had to get out of bed at 11:45 pm, tiptoe downstairs past my sleeping children and try it RIGHT THEN.  And of course, it worked!  Check it out, and let me know what you think!

To order your own edible printer, check out Icing Images.  This is my affiliate link for Icing Images, so if you do happen to buy something, I will get a small commission, which helps me to keep this blog up and running.  But please know that I never recommend any products I don’t like and use myself!
